MDP (MyDrivingPal) Fleet is the perfect App for people and fleet companies that would like to monitor the location, movements, status, and behavior of their vehicle or fleet of vehicles.
This App delivers is a suite of location based services, as listed below:
1) Automatically records driving trips in foreground and background, whilst using very little battery (about 20% for 2 hour of accumulated driving per day)
2) On My Way that is a fast and simple way to share (via message or email) your location in real-time by generating and sharing a short URL (e.g. https://goo.gl/NWby1F). We put you in full control. You specify duration of sharing and have the option to modify or cancel it at anytime within the App.
3) Use the App to manually start and end recording of your activity (walking, running, biking, or driving)
4) App measures users driving behavior and calculate a safety score for each individual trip. It also shows total duration and distance of the trips.
5) Delivers audio enabled notification feedback in real time about harsh-braking and speeding (for both freeway and city roads) events. You have the option to mute it.
6) Trips history page to access summary and detailed information of previously recorded trips (up to six months in past).
7) Find and reserve nearby parking spaces (via our partnership with ParkingPanda)
After installing the App, it asks for entering two numbers: GroupId and UserId. Please contact us so that we generate and provide these numbers for you. We assign a unique GroupId for each group of users (e.g. AAA Flooring company) and a unique UserId for each user within the group.
Alternatively, you can choose "Use as Anonymous" option to skip entering the numbers. The GroupId / UserId information allows you to access our fleet tracking portal at "fleet.mydrivingpal.com" that nicely visualizes information collected from all users sharing the same GroupId.
Please note that "continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life".
